About the SpineMED™ Treatment
"My cervical spine pain has dropped from a worst possible level 10 down to a wonderful level 1. The constant radial tingling and numbness down my left arm into my thumb and forefinger has 98% dissipated, with now only an occasional instance. Each progressive treatment was better than the previous one(s). My neck and shoulders are actually stronger, as evidenced by the improved strength demonstrated in subsequent range of motion and muscle resistance testing. I also experienced sleep deprivation due to my cervical pain, which now has subsided due to SpineMed which has allowed me to get into an improved sleep pattern and REM sleep, so crucial to overall health. My persona in general has improved due to the relief I have received. I feel that the subsequent exercise, weight loss and chiropractic plan that I am beginning will eliminate any remaining minimal cervical issues. Eventually, in 2008, I hope to return to SpineMed to decompress my lower lumbar. "I came to Dr. Woodward’s office in August 2007, at the recommendation of a friend, having experienced a herniated disc while training for the Senior Olympic tryouts. About the SpineMED® Treatment
"While contemplating having a 4th surgery due to lumbar back and sciatica pain, I ran across an advertisement for SpineMED® treatment in the local newspaper. After trying so many other type treatments for my back pain, I was very skeptical, but decided to check the website for further information. Much to my surprise I read about a treatment to decompress the spine without surgery - which is the very thing my previous surgeries were supposed to do but without a lot of success! I felt hopeful and decided to call the 800 number for more information. They were able to schedule an initial consultation with Gateway Physical Therapy Center within a few days. At the consultation, I was able to watch a video and discuss the treatment plan in more detail with the clinic Administrator, Kari Miller. After determining via a recent MRI that I was a great candidate for this type of treatment, we began daily sessions on the SpineMED® equipment for the next 30 days. Little by little, my back and leg pain began to decrease to the point where I have very little pain left and have been able to increase my daily activities while decreasing pain medication.
